As you have seen by the photos I have posted, I have a thing about photography, whether its 35MM with my Nikormat or my Fuji Digatal camera. One of the things about digatal photography is, if you have a good editor, the things you can do with a photo are endless. I dont like to do to much to get away from the original, maybe darken or lighten or even add a bit of contrast, but I like to stay with the original as much as possible..
As you see I will take pictures of anything that strikes my fancy, but after a long and cold winter I like to go to Elizabeth Park In West Hartford and do the spring tulip thing. I have made a few DVD's of the flower shows in the green house with music. My next thrill is when I go to New York City to visit my youngest son, who at one time lived on the 27th floor of an high rise. The view is breath taking and in the shadow of The Empire State Building. I was fortunate to have been able to take some startling photos from the top of THE WORLD TRADE CENTER, before that horrible day 9-11.. I look at them and choke up knowing the damage that was caused that terrible day. I shall post some of the WTC photos later on in this blog..
